Brenda Alice Wild- Author

Brenda Alice Wild was born in Yorkshire, England to an English mother and an Australian father. She was educated at Gregory Girls School.

After marrying in 1964, she moved to Australia in 1969 with her husband and young daughter where she has spent the majority of her life in Adelaide.

After taking an early retirement, Brenda began writing her first book, The Three Bridesmaids.  This was followed shortly thereafter by her second novel, Our Secret Forever.  Her third novel, Why Didn’t They Want Us?, was published in 2007 and is based on a true story.

Brenda’s fourth novel, Two Martinis and a Black Swan, is her first murder story based in Adelaide.

In 2010 Brenda published her fifth novel, Blame it on the Holiday. Her sixth novel, My Turn Will Come, was published in 2011.

Brenda, who enjoys travelling, reading and walking, has 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren.
